By connecting businesses with charities, they create impactful experiences that not only strengthen team dynamics but also benefit the community. However, despite their meaningful work and strong word-of-mouth, they needed a clearer narrative and marketing strategy to attract new clients.

Team Being is an innovative team-building business with a mission to “Build teams through projects with purpose.” Unlike conventional team-building activities, they connect companies with charities, creating meaningful experiences that benefit both teams and the community. Past initiatives have included renovating children's homes and constructing forest schools. Despite their impactful work and strong word-of-mouth referrals, they recognised the need to refine their story and clarify their pitch to attract new clients. Their aim was to develop a cohesive marketing strategy and collateral that would enable them to actively promote their offerings to a wider audience.

We began with a thorough audit of Team Being’s marketing efforts, concentrating on their website, which was ready for a rebuild. Alongside a review of competitor strategies, we conducted interviews with key stakeholders including People Directors and Events Managers, gaining crucial insights. While intrigued by Team Being’s mission, stakeholders found the website confusing and were unclear about their services and the effort required to organise large-scale away days.
To address these challenges, we facilitated a brand strategy workshop with the leadership team. This session focused on our audit findings, brainstorming marketing initiatives and mapping customer touchpoints. Together, we clarified their brand story and simplified their communication framework.
